Credit Cards and Smoking cause Irreversible Damage

Most of you might agree that saving money today might seem like saving sex for your old age. But this is just a common psychological trick that most of us play to deceive themselves of the reality. As you read further, you will know how this deprives you of the reality and causes harm out of sheer ignorance.

This analogy between cigarettes and credit cards might sound weird but after two more minutes you will be able to relate.

Everybody knows that smoking causes cancer, so if smoking leads to cancer then why do people still smoke?

Smoking = Cancer; this happens to be an equilibrium. But a smoker’s brain disrupts this equilibrium to come up with a new equation which changes this causation into a probability!

Smoking * (Frequency) * (Hardness of Cigarettes) = Cancer

And now lets look at the common excuses: I don’t smoke that often, these are the mildest ones! So once the human mind has an excuse, the fact gets deviated from equilibrium. This builds a false perception of probability instead of causation another reason t not quit.

This does not simple apply to smoking. Eventually shopaholics and individuals end up broke due of a similar mind game. Saving sex for tomorrow might not be a wise decision but saving money for tomorrow definitely saves your future.

Excessive Spending Today = Interest Payment Tomorrow = Eventually Broke

Please ignore if you are expert at using credit cards and trying to make banks go broke over the crazy offers you enjoy. As long as this is in equilibrium, you might sit at home and enjoy the 10 rupee green tea. But as soon as your mind disrupts this equilibrium, you would end up sitting at Marriott spending 25x amount for the same green tea.

Spending * (Amount) * (Frequency) + Late Payment Interest = Broke

The same two factors! I don’t spend much, I do not dine out that often and I pay my bills on time. Many individuals lie to themselves to build a false perception and eventually end up digging their own grave. So if you are using this mind trick to convince yourself, you better stop it right away. And if you want the future you to give you a pat on your back, better start investing today.

Saving sex for tomorrow, the future you would love to hit you; save money for tomorrow, you would be thankful to yourself later.
